Cub Scouting is a volunteer-led, family-supported program. Pack 612 depends on parents, guardians, and other adult volunteers working together to provide our Scouts with a safe, organized, and exciting Scouting experience.
There are many ways to serve—some positions work directly with Scouts, while others provide important behind-the-scenes support. You do not need previous Scouting experience to volunteer. Training and resources are available to help every leader succeed.
Pack 612 may not have a separate volunteer serving in every position at all times. When a position is vacant, its responsibilities may be shared among other members of the Pack leadership team until a volunteer can be found.
Registered adult leaders must complete the training required by Scouting America and the Daniel Boone Council for their position.
This generally includes:

You do not have to become Cubmaster or a Den Leader to make a difference in Pack 612.
Some volunteers lead Scouts every week. Others manage finances, plan a campout, organize the Pinewood Derby, maintain our website, coordinate a service project, help with fundraising, buy awards, prepare food, or simply take responsibility for one activity.
Every position supports the same goal: providing our Scouts with the best possible Cub Scouting experience.
If you have a skill, interest, or simply a willingness to help, there is a place for you on the Pack 612 team.
